The SES has received a generous donation of 19 boxes of about 300 books from the late Emeritus Professor Relva Buchanan of the University of Cincinnati in the USA. Prof Buchanan was the PhD supervisor of our very own Prof Delali Bensah of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, through whose initiative and efforts the donation was received. At a short ceremony to receive the books at the School of Engineering Sciences Library, the Dean, Prof Elsie Effah Kaufmann commended the efforts of Prof Bensah and expressed appreciation to the estate of the late Prof Buchanan for the generous donation. She encouraged faculty present to emulate Prof Bensah and leverage their networks to help support the SES. To the students she encouraged them to make good use of this valuable resource made available to them in their pursuit of excellence.
